New Moonlights Here is the pics of the new LED's from Litylshue...thanks again man. My only question is these LEDs seem pretty focused, to they come with different angles of lighting? For now the lights are just temporarily sitting on top of the reflectors...eventually i will mount them...

I know that the catalina goby is probably not a choice for you considering the fact that they are cold water, not tropical. As for the gobies, if it were my tank, I would only have ONE. Reason being, I like to have my tanks be as LOW maintainance as possible. Having only the one fish...

what about lexan? the lexan XL10 that they sell at homedepot is supposed to block 85%-90% of the UV and can stand temps up to 212 degrees. Not to mention that it is 100's of times stronger than glass and is a fraction of the cost.

nice tank, looks healthy...i think those are copepods on the back glass? good sign of a healthy tank. How are those bumble bee snails doin? i just ask because they are carnivorous, not herbivorous scanvengers like most snails.

you can do it under water. Just apply a very small dot of glue to the "foot" (the small circular area where he would normally attach himself) and then gently place it on the rock where you want it. doesnt take much at all.

Ive just glued my with just a tiny spot of superglue. Ive also done it where you place it in a container in your tank where current wont move it and place it on a piece of small LR and let it naturally attach itself.

I think that it shouldnt be a problem. Just be careful and only apply a little bit of joes to the aiptasia...i have used this in very close proximity to my zoas and no problems. In order for the stuff to harm something it must sit on the surface for a period of time...even brief contact wont...

Probably zoas, shrooms, GSP, lowlight corals like that. I wouldnt do an sps for two reasons. I dont think that there is enough watts or par from the lighting that you have. Reason two, the tank should be established. just my .02. jesse

Thanks for the compliments. It did turn out pretty well. And i wired those LEDs up...havent installed them yet. I got two and man they are bright. Really a nice blue tint to them though.

Actually, i was amazingly able to get them to return the custom-cut piece of glass!! so i no longer have it.

That might be a possibility...maybe a pricey possibilty. thank you
