had a pH problem, added airstone. Fixed problem. I do not like airstone. Is there a way to eliminate it while maintaining proper pH?

Well, we live in Vegas....heater is not running. Lady @ fish store told us to put in the 2 damsels last week....they are doing better today. We had to put a fan in same room to circulate air.....this is all since this morning. Fan has helped bring it to 82F. About the power heads...
