could it be from some marine buffer i used on it about a week and a half ago....that never dissolved?

i dissconnected the hose for the pump in the back...took the pump out...and checked it out..then put evreything back in place...and once again i turn it on...and the tank is stirred up.........

yea ill try it out....and ill take a pic as soon as possible....and liverock..i probably have about 15-20 pounds so far.and i have a 25 g cube ..im going to be buying more in weeks top come...its kinda hard to point it straight at the live rock...with the stock jbj nano cube i have....thanks so...

mass amounts of sand.....

and would that be normal for mass amouts to shoot out...once the head was taken off the pump....

sorry again....im using the small sand i guess....yea and ive tried pointing the head in evrey way possible....and no im not running any extra ph in the tank at all....what would you try or do in this situation....because evreything else in my tank looks so good...besides the mass amounts of...

Alright ive been trying to get to the bottom of this cloudy tank deal under control....and today i tried taking of my ph head..to see if that would cause this losse sand to settle..and its starting shooting crazy amounts of sand out...what is up?...now my tank is a big mess..any ideas....or input...

how should the ph be placed..like what directions do you guys usually place them...because my tank still seems to have alot of sand floating around..not as much..but something is causing this..and i cant seem to figure out what

i have the sponge in the back first comparment and the bag of ceramic stuff in the second.....its the 24g nano cube set ....it was calm for awhile and looked great...i messed with teh rock formation...and now its a big mess...

i forgot to add...alot of the debree looked to be heavy amounts of salt floating around in the tank....which is causing it to look really cloudy

my tank has been set up for about 2 and half weeks now...and it is a 24g nano cube.....with about 20 pounds of rock..it seems to be very cloudy with lots of debree and such floating around....is this normal? i took the bio balls out of the back....what am i doing wrong?...any tips? would be...

ok i am trying to start my reef tank...and it is in a 24 g nano ....during the cycle it has been set up for about week....and the tank seems to be collecting alot of brown algae on the the inside....and all over the live rocks....and i have alot of brown build up on my live sand...is this normal...

no it has not cycled..at least i dont think so....it has been set up a week....and the fish stays in the same spot..because of the current...same with the large shrimp i have in there...i guess i was told the wrong instructions..thanks so much for your help..could you steer me in the right...

hey i just bought the 24 nano cube....i dont really know were to start...so far i have about 5 pounds of live rock to start..i will be buying more this week....and one clown fish..and one goby..the current inside the tank seems t be going in a circualar motion and the fish seem to be fighting...
