weird now i see picture no that is not red slime that is normal diatom bloom take it out if you want to and add more flow in that part and lower you lighting time that might be the problem and dont worry as soon as you add your cleaning crew they will take care of it or time... but if bugs you...

well in the process you eventually get the diatom and then hairy algae (not always) but in a new tank is weird when you get some red slime but if is really red looking you should take it out and add more flow to that area with a pump and just to prevent add some chemi-clean that work for me i...

and also is not recommended alot of fish but if you introduce one and wake lets say 1-2 weeks and then add the other one so the tank gets used to and also keeping your water changes weekle and you're gonna be find just everything at it's time not rushing or will follow to dissaster.... what...

i was just ganna say that but anyways yeah cause they are alot of hermits but some are not great cleaners like the scarlet , blue legs & electric blue legs. what kind of goby are you gonna put with the clown and also if you want a clown to be a good mate for other fish get a false clown cause...
