Not sure a pic would do any good, I went after if with tweezers yesterday. You cooked the LR? How bad of a stench did that make? Will look into the Mexican turbos.

There are a few spots on the rock that it grows long, but mainly short. I have a lawnmower blenny, and he doesn't touch it. I went after it yesterday with tweezers, and do you know what the pods were doing in there :shock: . At least something is using it!

I have a rock that has some red hair algea growing on it. If I've researched it correctly, then it would be Gracilaria. Reading up on it, tangs love this stuff but I have no tang and do not have plans to put one in a 30 gallon tank. Does anyone know of an alternative, maybe an invert that...

Of course we would love to see pictures of your tank now! To my way of thinking, take plenty of pictures now, they will give you something to look back at to gauge the progess of your tank as it gets older! I'm sure it is possible for a tank to start out 'pretty', but the majority don't dear...
