Cerith snails usually will go on the glass, rockwork and sandbed. Nassarious snails are mainly sandbed unless you get the n. obsoletas which IME stay mainly on the glass.

I have never had one yet but I see them all of the time at my LFS in the same tank with the clown gobies and I have never seen any kind of aggression. They like to hide in a hole and just poke their heads out similar to a watchman goby.

Yes, the entire light should light up. On 50/50 bulbs sometimes its hard to see both sides lit because one side is so dominating.

Its really pretty hard for us to determine what a good price is over there because we have no idea what the normal prices are. If you think its a good price then I say go for it. You may also be able to skip the mechanical filter unless you planned on it also providing you water circulation.

Ammonia and nitrite levels should read zero for several days before adding anything or turning the lights on for more than a peek. You may have some nitrates present but you want to keep that level to less than 20. I usually recommend a week between any additions just to give the tank plenty...

They can custom mix any kind of paint (house, latex, oil, epoxy, etc.) that you want. I don't think you can get spraypaint that way though but if you have or have access to an airbrush your set.

I upgraded the return pump on mine to a 300 gph return pump and added a Hydor Deflector to give some added random currents. My tank is a 12DX, most nanocube owners upgrade their return pumps and some have added a spraybar for their returns. I am sure others will chime in here shortly.

Thats one of the main reasons I had them polish the edges, I have been cut by freshly cut glas before and just wanted to avoid the hassle. I did think about doing it myself but decided to just pay for it. I have polished the edges before with my beltsander.

Yes they are good. Peanut worms, small bristleworms, spaghetti worms, etc. are all good for you tank. Big bristleworms are kinda controversial, experts don't say anything bad about them that I have read but most reefers don't trust the really big ones.

You mentioned yesterday your salinity was .020 and now you have it at .023, you never want to make such rapid changes because they stress the entire tank. If you need to adjust a parameter like this do so over a period of a couple of days.

It would replace those additives but I would wait to see if you need anything other than weekly partial water changes. If you do need to supplement I would probably go with the nano A-B.

I voted for weekends but any time would be fine for me. I would say 12:00 noon EST to 9:00 pm EST. That would be 9 AM to 6 PM for our west coast reefers.

A refugium is an area of filtration through the growth of macroalgaes which use unwanted nutrients (nitrates mainly) for their growth. It is/can also be an area where things like worms and pods can grow without predation from fish. You may want to see if Aqua C Remora skimmers are available or...

If you don't need to supplement with extra calcium then you can skip this product, weekly water changes will add everything you need unless you have a massive calcium demand.

Your on your way now. You will notice more of an effect on your parameters by the addition of fish, inverts tend to produce less waste. Remain patient and keep your eyes on your parameters like you are doing and you should have your tank stocked the way you want it before you know it.

I agree that you get what you pay for but in this case the Fission is "the only candy store in town". Its a good thing nutrient levels can be controlled through not overfeeding and water changes.
