My One-Month Old 12 Gallon Nano Cube

Quite true. You can check to see if you have the "gut fed" mysis as you should see the protein values listed. I think brine is like 4% and mysis is like 96% protein. Brine shrimp is like popcorn. Most livestock loves it, but it isn't very nutritional.

24 Hours into new 10 gallon setup

Nice start. But while cycling I may suggest to avoid adding any more live stock. It may die to the toxic ammonia and nitrite.

    clowns and host

It is up to the clown fish. LPS like bubble and frogspawn are a maybe but instead of which coral. Find a clown that hosts easily.

    Rowaphos - Phosphate Remover

Actually no noticeable spike. Still at zero. But I am also aggressively trying to limit phosphate intake (aka rinsing my foods before feeding and only using RO/DI). No noticeable reduction in nuisance algae, but my fuge chaeto is starting to grow a bit more. I'll wait another couple of weeks...

    frags

Depends on the coral. Xenia, shrooms, and ricordias will attach themselves while for the hard corals it's generally a piece of aquarium safe putty.

    shrimp

+1 a friend of mine has a coral banded in a 29 gallon and it looks awkward.

    sea urchin

It would probably knock a bunch of stuff over in your tank. I don't house urchins so I can't give any personal experience here. Just if you do get one please be careful of the poison in their spines. A fellow reefer got blood poisoning from one.

Used cracked 24g nano cube, can I fix?

Try using photobucket and pasting in the IMG codes for photo posting. I don't recommend trying to use that tank as it is more than likely going to blow out. Maybe a glass shop in your area and cut you a replacement piece, but it's probably cheaper to find a used 24 tank without the hood. But...

Setting up a new tank, looking for advice!

I would suggest to avoiding that much coral rubble. Maybe just a pound of the rubble. (I'm guessing it's there for fish and shrimp to use to build a burrow?) If my guess is wrong then may I ask why the coral rubble? If no corals then you can probably skip the skimmer. I don't run one on my...

I am digging this tank! So many things. What are you going to do when all the frags mature?

A FEW PICTURES OF MY 20G BIOCUBE

I fixed the issue. The coding had split the /IMG code at the end. Also all that needed to happen was hit enter between the IMG codes to have a break between the pictures. GREAT shots by the way!!!

    Rowaphos - Phosphate Remover

Not necessarily. Phosphate media reduces your phosphates. That's about it. If there is other factors to your brown stuff on your sand (may be a diatom bloom from excess nutrients and silica) then the phosphate remover won't get rid of it. Also a diatom bloom is absolutely normal and a part...
