mike you out there....just wondering where you got that red or grape algae. does anybody else have this stuff...if so where can i find it. my LFS has never heard of it before. they kind of suck :lol: i looking for some to brighten up my refugium.....

you might still have a heat problem with the pengiun because of the size, it might even make it warmer. i would leave the PH's and the aquaclear in and find a small fan. i had the same problem and all i did was use a small computer fan in my hood. the pengiun should be plenty of movement for...

mike i have a clip on fan that i got from wally world that blows on my refugium and i havent had my temp go above 80. i loose about half a gallon a day with the fan on. the only thing is its on a 20L and not a 72, so im not sure if youll loose more. i also dont have a glass top on my tank...

that video of the mantis shrimp was bad ass.......

bummer about the heat.....im sure youll figure something out. great placement on the PH's, you can hardly see them. keep up the good work mike.....im still jealious :mrgreen:

mike im not exactly sure what option you should go with. its your call on this matter, plus i only have a 20L and a 10gal saltwater set up, the rest are freshwater planted.i never researched anything for my 75.i wouldnt be the best person for advise on this.good luck to you and happy...

i have two of those in my 75 fresh water.... they work great, best powerheads ive had. to bad they dont make small ones for nano's

im looking for the type in mikes TOTS tank on the home page....

you can cut the smaller branches off with a new razor blade and rubber band it to a piece of LR. it shouldnt take long for it to take to the LR. you wont kill it, a new branch will start to grow for the cut spot.

would anybody out there like to sell me some trimings....all i need is a little branch...ill pay for everything. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :roll:

never heard of it...havent been in the hobby long enough to know most of the terms. when i fraged my spaghetti finger in curlied up almost like a knuckle, my xenia does the same thing when i frag it......your guess is as good as mine

i heard my LFS call it worm algae..... just what i heard, there was another but i cant remember what it was...there could a million different layman terms.

my spaghetti finger does the same thing....i though it wa just triing to get closer to a current or better light...JMO not sure if its either one
