incysor what would be the best way to target feed? hood method? any others?

im just triing to exclude any possiblities that where from my error.

can zoos get to much light...there where placed near the top of the tank. now i have them in my ten galllon on the bottom and they are all starting to open up.

kind of looks like a sponge....i have a bunch of them in my tank. not really sure though, i could be wrong.

i was using instant ocean sea salt but now im using reef crystals.dont really know much on brands or quality, im sure youll some more posts to help you out. oh yeah welcome to nanotank.... :mrgreen:

just wondering about feeding this guy? how should i feed him? what should i feed? got it from my buddy and it was dieing off slowly. since ive had it, it has recovered about half mybe less. sometimes it doesnt look so good and sometimes it does. honestly i didnt think it was going to make it...

welcome... you also can go with all glass aquarium.....then the options are endless. just a thought.

well i guess ifs a myth then i dont see a problem as long as its changed on a regular basis. i stopped using it in my freshwater tanks a couple years ago and switched to peat moss in my filters with foam...i changed that every two months. ive had very good luck with live plants and the fish ive...

just wondering if anybody has built there own protein skimmer? i get board sometimes, i have to much time on my hands, and i like to build my own stuff (or at least try to). my next project is going to be a skimmer. i have done a bunch of research but really havent found anybody that has done...

tonight the anenomes are coming off the piece of LR and are getting traded back to LFS. getting way to big for my 20L.....i called today and they dont have any small ones but they said they'd give me cash.....usually its just store credit or exchange. very cool.

i hope not...i going up to my LFS and haveing them test my water. i dont have that many zoo's so if i loose them its no big deal, some of them have opened but dont look to good. nothing else in my tank is doing bad.....thats why its strange. im just glad im not the only one that had a problem...

no i dont run carbon...used to until i found out that it leachs everything back into the tank once its full.

has anybody had there zoos closed for more than a week? mine have been closed for ten days now. had one open today and it was all deformed and discolored. tested my water and everything came out zero, ph 8.2, salinity 1.024, havent moved it nothing.....they just decided to close and not open...

as of today both anenomes are doing great , fully healed and both have mouths again. feeded them both some krill. only problem they're not bubble tips anymore....more like long tentacles...lol but anyways doing good. still havent got a cam so i dont have any pics....sorry
