Photo Contest - Enter to win a float switch & gift cert!

Sounds great. Photography is fun but can be really frustrating sometimes especially when dealing with glass, glare, underwater critters not cooperating, etc. Just a reminder, only one photo entry per member. Keep them coming.

    Bibles for Newbies

Hey Rod and welcome to Nanotank.com! Good idea to research and read up before diving into the world of nanos. I would have to agree in that there really isn't a nano-specific bible to go by for beginners. I just picked up CORAL magazine's #2 issue which is focuses on nano tanks. Haven't had...

    Nice yellow polyps

Thanks Memphis. They did great for over a year and multiplied frequently. They were quite healty and I used to spot feed them but then they just kinda disappeared. I noticed that they were sometimes in contact with my frogspawn and I think that was the culprit. If there is even a slight...

    nano issue of Coral magazine.

Finally swung by there and purchased the #2 issue of CORAL magazine focused on nano tanks. Looks pretty nice. Cover price was $6.95 but he was asking $10. No worries though as I'm sure its hard to find. They guy I was talking to said they are getting a new shipment of corals in tomorrow...

Corals for a 15gal, suggestions please.

Did you personally make that big piece of live rock at the bottom or purchase it like that? Looks pretty cool. Also, if that red coral thingy is just a plastic decoration, I would take it out as it will just become an algae nuisance in the future.
