    Another Newbi :)

I'm in your same situation. I've been trying to decide between the 12 and the 24g cubes. I like the mike guerrero signature series modification on the 12 but I like all the room that comes with the 24 gal.... Good luck with your tank and keep us posted!

    Does Good water go Bad?

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. I keep 5 to 15 gallons of RO/DI water in sealed containers (buckets) and use them to mix my fresh SW with whenever I need it. I usually keep it for 1-3 weeks or so with no problems. I actually never heat the water up but that is a really good idea. I usually...

They look like little mushrooms to me but they prob. are too flat. I would have to say some kind of weird algae..interesting.

    Need advice on my tank...

While moving last weekend, I took out a combined total of approx. 20-25 lbs of live rock from my three tanks. Its great to have in your system as sort of a natural, living filter but you are correct in that it will, at some point, compete with your for corals for real estate. In my situation...

Can we take a quick poll ???

You might want to create a poll Mike. Its really easy, just got to the bottom of the post and use the 'poll' option when you are first creating the topic. I would go with Mike Guerrero personally. Then put Nanotank.com underneath it

    6 lined wrasse

My 6-line is doing great in my 20 gallon. He's always crusing around looking for food. I'd also like to report that I've actually witnessed him eating flatworms now. I've seem him do it numerous times which is awesome. Mine is not shy at all.

    10 gal nano

Nice. I'm going to use Physh1's idea of siliconing a PH to a small twister magnet from now on. Damn suction cups never hold anyway and you can move it around. You might want to do that someday as well.

18 watts in 5.5 gallon enough light?

Welcome to Nanotank :gh: . I would think that 18W would be okay for mushrooms in a 5.5 but you'd be pushing it with anything else. You will be pretty limited as to what else you can really put in there. I've got 32X2 CSL retros PCs on my 5.5 and I think it cost me about $100 or so to do...
