    Barbecue Time

Example recipe... Here's an example of a wonderful dry rub that I've personally tried and enjoyed greatly. It has been taken word for word from the book.... Jake's Boss Barbecue Rub Kenton "Jake" Jacobs is a quiet man with a lot to say about barbecue. The Boston put master has won...

    Barbecue Time

Anyone here into barbecue? What with summer coming at us at a full clip, now's the time to go out and stock up on all the yearly toys for doing it. In all the years I've been doing it, tho, no single piece of equipment was more useful to me than one book. Barbecue! Bible: Sauces, Rubs, and...

John Denver = Time In A Bottle, Sunshine on My Shoulder, Hug A Tree... Tom Petty = Free Falling, Walls... Dan Fogelberg = High Country Snows, Down the Road, Ballad of John Sutter's Mill... Not ringing a bell? Denver and Fogelberg are acoustic folk singers, and Tom Petty is more light...

    My first tank

Oh yeah, well, I dropped some polyps on the ground and stepped on them. Being wet, they are in approx. 1/1000th of a gallon of water. So there :D Here's a pic of me working on it: -Flame PS - No, I didn't really step on any polyps...

*pees in your tank* Well, it's certainly "green". Not too shabby looking, if I must say so myself ;) Certainly a nice departure from all the neon colored corals of most tanks. Looks very natural. -Flame

Being next to the floor speaker, I'd be very cautious about sound vibrations annoying your livestock. As you and everyone else probably already knows, water is a much better conductor of sound than air, and the constant vibrations caused by the speaker could annoy your livestock to the point...

I'd rather not have to drill the fixture, if I can. Drilling it causes stress points in the metal. -Flame

Flatworms and how to get rid of them?

Yes, I definitely will. I had it working at one point where I wasn't going to need one, due to the insane amount of flow the pump itself caused, but I couldn't get the level to even out, so I had to dial it back a bit.

    My first tank

You gotta be when you have to go in and take care of animals for a living. Back when I was working at my old LFS, we had over 400 tanks, which equated to well over 50,000 gallons of water, that we had to take care of each and every day, and I had to be there at 4 in the morning just to get...
