I just took some quick pics of the bookshelf 6.6 tank, didn't crop, just resized and posted.
There are two reasons for this update. The first being I figured it was ready for and update.
The second reason, is I am leaving for a 2 week vacation in a few days and really want to have a record...

This is growing on Coralline algae, the circle of algae is about 1/2" in diamemter. I was going to pluck them, but after a closer look, I wasn't sure just what I had.
Any help would be great!!!
Looks like the dreaded zoo crud.....blowit off the best you can with a turkey baster and place the colony in a good flow area. If it seems to be spreading after a day or two, you have to scrape it off with a knife and save the rest of the zoos.

Yeah, I remember reading Burleson, but the one that really got me going was, George Smit. He pushed the planted tank with a wet dry filter. It was going to be the end all filter and tank system!!! :razz: :lol: :mrgreen:

The rule of thumb for shipping, is 1 part water to 2 parts air. using that as a guide, there would be less than one oz of water.....
Yes.....it has been bare bottom, from the get go.....

Depends which ones, but over all, most things grow fairly slow. Sometimes you get lucky and certain ones will love your tank and reallt take off.
