Fleshy colored. I've dropped FWE 4x now and there are still some in the tank. I'll check again when I get home tonight, hopefully this last attack took them all out.

The water I get from myLFS is RO/DI and I keep it stored in 5 gal jugs. Should I be worried about the water going stale? Or is it perfectly fine to keep the water in there without any movement? I've noticed that the dripline freshwater replacment tube that's in the jug tends to get...

I seem to have a flatworm problem in my tank. I've dosed with flatworm exit 2x now and some of those buggers still persist. I've been told six line wrasses eat flatworms. I also saw a 4 line wrasse for sale as well. What's the difference between the two fish or can I just get the cheaper one?

I saw a few stragglers so yeah, tomorrow I'm going to nuke the tank again while I brew beer to keep an eye on it. Fishes, corals, beer and brewing...that my friends is a good sunday.

In the long run the operating cost of the tank is going to far exceede the initial hardware cost. Another option is to buy used equipment, if you're persistant and have time you can buyused PC lighting for 50% or more off of retail.

It doesn't filter anything other than to keep the bubbles low, to change it means to completely remove the skimmer and take it apart. I think I may just get rid of it entirely and buy some sort of bubble trap instead.

Is the bubble foam block on my CPR BakPak2 skimmer acting like a nirtrate factory?

Can't remember exactly what I posted here last, added some silver strand pulsing xenia and it seems to have lost it's pulse, I'm keeping an eye on it. Also picked up a small green yuma and it seems to be doing ok and I also got a colt frag. Plus...as an added bonus: Flatworms!!! Oh boy...

I do a little at a time to get things 'right'. I've had my tank up for 3 or 4 months and I've done some re-arranging 3 times so far. Each time totally changes the look of the tank, which is kind of nice, makes it feel 'new' all over again.

Hard to imagine a year ago Conn and I were scratching our heads on how to get the server config'd to set this up. That year went fast!

Do you know what kind of xenia you have? Could you post a pic of the redsea variety? I just picked up some silver strand pulsating xenia and I'd like to see how they look in comparision.

Got a question about LPS. Do candy canes (in particular) share nutrients? For example, pylops and zoa's are connected via a matt and can share nutrients, thus if one eats they all benefit. Is this the same for LPS? I just got a red candycane with 10 heads, some of which are showing some...
