Thanks dragon just wondering not sure he seemed fine so I figure that he got stung and eaten . Funny thing is that he was fine this am with the feedings but then by 4pm I couldnt find him , what ever ate him devoured him compleatly in a matter of hours , perameters spg 1.025 ammonia 0 ppm...

will an anenome consume a chromis the reason I ask this is my remaining chromis disappeared today I saw the anenome poop out and his remains in the tenicals

other than the ph being a little low but everthing else is in check hum not sure why she died :sad:

are you sure it is not just molt ?? some times when they molt they disappear ....for a period of time till the new shell hardens I am not sure what the jelly like substance was other than perhaps some kind of discharge ? You may wish to take some of your water to a lfs and have them cross...

these lights are the new bulbs from hello lights ..... I am thinking that they very well may be too blue ???? they are not actinic only but are what they call a dayactinic , I think that in person they are nicer than what I can capture on camera

As well as most know my prized fish Sushi needed to find a new home ..... so he was taken back to the pet store today and we got two new fish....This by far was one of the hardest trades that I have done .....he was my buddy I hope that he finds the home he deserves and is happy in ......Now...

I would have to say no .....they need lots of water volume and pristine perameters the smallest I would think would be a 40 gallon tank . Incysor here use to keep them . I know this is not what you wanted to hear sorry :sad:

What about contacting places that make the lights and asking if you could buy a piece cut to your specs ?

It will help keep the water clean but in my opinion is not needed if you do weekly h20 changes .When you say few fish how many are you thinking of ??

with that many gobies there may be territorial issues and stick with only 3 fish dont try and push it yet you will get there wait out the 1 or 2 months before adding your fish trust me patients young grasshopper patients :-)

Thanks for the offer Rip but we are in pa and starting to hit only highs in the teens so I dont want to try shipping live stuff into here at the moment till spring :lol: or we will have xenia sicles :lol:
