Firefish, You don't need those expensive digital cameras that cost hundreds. Did you know that you can get a really good digital camera for under 30 dollars? Creative labs makes them, it would help in identifying problems in your tank via a pic... Mike

I purchased the test today and got a reading equal to real ocean water as the test instructions suggest, so I assume just a little of what is normal is better since I heard my LFS say, he likes to keep it just a little higher than normal... Mike

Hi Nano Angel, Your mandarin will do fine. They say they are a big no no in the small reefs because the lack of live rock which house the copepods, but I've been successful in having them adapt to brine shrimp and sometimes mysis. Hopefully yours will first clear up the copepods explosion...

The chemi pure needs to be replaced about every 3 months. That is what goes in place of the bio balls in my opinion. I also placed in there a sack of Nitrate Sponge. Mike
