    I have this exact heater and I do recommend it. I'm using the 25 watt one for my new pico that I just started. It's very important to conceal and keep heaters hidden and this submersible for it's price is the best option. Mike G

    High Nitrate

    Ceramic rings can trap debris within the holes, the live rubble is the way to go, much higher in porous surface and they don't trab debris like the rings. Trapped debris can lead to high levels of undesired nitrate.... MG
