The computer in question is a regular desktop. The connection I guess would just be standard high speed (tower to tower, line of site) and the router is a NetGear box.

Every since we got this faster connection there have been 'pauses' in the service, which shuts everything your doing online down until it comes back up. Normally they don't last long, but sometimes they can. I've been round and round with the service technicians and everytime they come out...

Get ahold of a TDS meter, you can also check for phosphate before and after to see if the levels differ.

When you get your SG leveled out, then yes add your live rock, but hold off on anything else until your tank cycles out. Have you purchased your test kits yet?

For now, try placing them in the back corners facing the front glass. The placement later will need to be a little more detailed due to livestock, but that is down the road. HTH :mrgreen:
