    lettuce sea slug, court jester goby, turbo snails, tangs, cleans off easy with a tooth brush, water changes, shortened photoperiod, dont feed tank as much,........... :roll: really cant think of anything else. i have done all of these and they all have worked. good luck

    thats very common for clowns to do....mine bit me all the time when i had to stick my hand in. after a while all my inhabitants got used to it and stayed away. which might be harder in smaller tanks.

    it probably broke off intentionally....the flow should be fine, i have seen them in some pretty turbulant water. you can place a shot glass in your tank with some rubble and the piece of xenia. the glass will keep anything from messing with the little guy while it attaches itself.

    april, another way that i have used to rid my tank of some of the larger ones is, by placing an empty snail shell with a piece of mysis placed in it, near where you have seen the little guys. they will go for the food and then get inside the shell....then i pull the shell. its a free trap...

    most likely they are pods.....good indication of an established tank. harmless and some fish feed off them. i have tons of them.

    IMO i leave mine alone. they are good debris eaters and if anything dies in the rock work where you cant see they will do a great job of getting rid of it. but i do extract the larger ones, 3" and above. they come out wehn i feed the tank, then i take a pair of long tweezers and pull them out...

    april, agree with hooterhead....two would definitly be better. what kind of filteration are you running? is your 15 a tall or regular? 15tall is twenty inches long and regular is 24". P.S. thats not funny :cry: JK :mrgreen:
