I read your post, sorry to hear about your tank. i have my jbj 6 and I worry too, but I haven't read much on nano-reef about the 6's being bad and cracking. mostly on the dreaded 24.

it's quite a shame, that looks awesome, and a great solution. It's hot summer time now and my tank, and my girlfriends tank are getting pretty high up there (high 80's) Although everything looks fine, I am sure they dont like it. I'll have to wait and see to be sure though :P

I learned that, my poor anemone shrimp was killed by my red headed goby as it was trying to molt. :( I need to get another but need to maybe reaquacape to give the shrimp some options when coming to molting.

I second that. Disqualification is in order, the guy cheated point in case. As a opinion to get better results in the voting system, you can have only the admins vote. I saw that on another site. You post up, and then the admins get together and vote on which tank they believe is the best...

I can't wait for JBJ to release their protein skimmer & chiller for the jbj 6, 12, and 24. Would be nice to have a product that will go through some nice R&D before releasing. I know nanocustoms come out with things such as the chiller, but he has the great concept, but not enough in R&D...

piece of cake coral. I'd call it a starter beginner coral. My girlfriend got that as her first coral, and they did very well, and grew quite big over 7 or 8 months. She ended up getting bored of the torch and traded it in for store credit and got something else to add color to the tank.

is there anything wrong with going less? or do they need 12 hours??

what size tank? 20 gallon? 24 gallon perhaps? Good size pieces should work, but not rubble. Use unique pieces to give it that nice look. good luck.

you seem fine, but as far as anemones go, is that they are just a PITA to keep. You feed them, they move, they dont like their lighting conditions, they move.....should they die, they contaminate the tank. It's like, aie yie yie, forget about it! I hope it works out for you, the rest of...

you could probably try a maxi-jet and see if it remedies the problem. I have the pump you speak of, but it's in my 6 gallon. Should I get a bigger tank, I'd go with something that puts out more GPH than that.
