    also with the low light you have you can still keep just acouple fish if you wanted.....fish only tank with live rock. eventually down the road you can upgrade and get some corals.

    What in the world is a ZOO?

    zoanthids.....a polyp coral, they come in colonies. very colorfull and easy to keep. im a big zoa-addict.

    that coral takes some care to keep alive.....i would stick with mushrooms to start out with. then as you upgrade you can move into different corals.

    if you upgrade to a bigger tank youll want to upgrade lighting also. i personally use the agro-alive sand, its what i recommend. you dont need a hood just a glass top if you wish. alot of ppl here go with the open top. HTH

    New 8 gal bow nano

    you can get a 20" inch fixture, it would hang ove the edge though. i also think they make a 16" fixture also.
