in the second pic, those littel brown things are hydroid's, they sting and quickly multiply. i would get rid of them as soon as possible. i concur about the substrate. overall nice lookin tank. http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm

love to snowboard and scuba dive. the diving is what really got me into reefing. plus i have always had freshwater tanks. i do some hiking/camping in the summer time, mostly its being outside in the wild that i enjoy.
