    Nice your tank is beautiful !!! Can I send my 2.5 out for aquascaping :lol: Mine had a poisioning awhile back so I have not added too awful mcuh in the late. I just started about 1 month or so ago starting to add back to the tank :mrgreen:

    I have never noticed the white filmy substance and for a predator I removed the peppy shrimp is there something else I should look for predator wise ? Usually they stop opening then a few months later disappear ?

    Ok if you remember from a while back I had a problem with zoas .... Not opening and they just seemed to die . Well I have since replaced them and I am still having issues , I can't seem to keep them and once they are in they open 2-3 times then stop. I have tried diffrent levels in the tank...

    salinity salinity salinity I dont think I can add much to what john said: Invest in a hydrometer,refractometer or a digi lab they are cheap considering the cost of replacing corals. As for the lighting that needs to be upgraded ASAP. That is half your problem if not most of your problem...
