Yup, I've used Kent Tech CB and Ocean's Blend two part additives with good success. Might want to see what Mike G uses like Dragon said. You will def. need to invest in some good Ca and Alk test kits before you start dosing though.

I run my PCs with the schedule mentioned above to produce the dawn/dusk effect. Its worked out great for me. Might want to start off a little less then work your way up to 12 hr photoperiod to reduce and algae bloom.

I ALWAYS have to use a pH buffer with my tanks. Oceanic usually is a tad low in ALK.

Yes, any member can vote in the contest (one vote per member) but you do need 15 posts to enter the contest. I do it this way just so the more 'active' members can reap the benefits of our contests. I've noticed lots of other forums are starting to do the same thing and run with my idea...
