I had a JBJ 65W X 2 over my 20 gallon high. I liked it for the most part because it was affordable. I wouldn't try any wattage lower than 130 on a 20 high simply b/c it has to reach a greater depth than a 20 long. I kept lots of corals in the tank. Almost everything except SPS.

How long have you had them in your tank? They might just need to time to get adjusted.

I know we have quite a few Ohio reefers on the boards. This sounds like a really cool event. Anyone plan to attend? Any chance we could get Nanotank.com listed on these t-shrits? That would rock.

What happened to the pics?

We had some Houston friends that were going to evac. to our house in San Antonio for the weekend. Well after spending over 6 hours in traffic and not even making out of the city (10 miles) they turned around and went back home. I think city officials and FEMA are really letting us all down...

I've been getting nervous as I'm only about and hour and a half from the TX coast here in San Antonio. Its been 95-98 degrees here during the day and my tanks won't last more than a day with out power for AC. Keeping my fingers crossed...

Hmmmm...good question. I guess I can't say that I've ever noticed a difference between colors and hardiness. Maybe others can share their experiences but I've never seen a link. :roll:

I'd suggest you do a simple search for RO water or DI water on the site utilizing the seach function at the top of the page. There are lots of articles that discuss the above mentioned topic.
