Just curious though... the suns emits UV rays and I dont see a glass barrier between it and the ocean. Whats up with that?

I've bought glass from micheals before and didnt have a problem although the best thing to do is get tempered glass like you mentioned. Tempered glass blocks UV and is extremely heat resistant. A local glass shop will have and can cut it for you. Hope this helps. Take care.

Those Yumas are awesome! I havent seen that variation before. Maybe we could trade a polyp for a polyp? :mrgreen: I've found that Yumas arent harder to keep just more... i guess... active. They change they're state every so often by shrinking up like they're gonna die but before you...

Added some rics and a blasto. the pics are not accurate because of the yellow bulb. Things look brighter in person. Hope you enjoy. orange and purple with a green mouth. similar to above. orangish pink yuma. yellowish greens. bluish greens. blues. red blasto. no need...

Would you rather spend $500 on the mesoscope or setup a nice little 10 gallon with a 150 watt ocean light? I'd go for the tank. $500 seems a bit crazy... maybe cause I'm broke :mrgreen:

saving that link. nice find. those are great ballasts. I dont know what the difference is between mine(mines silver) and that one but I'm a fan of the Aromat NAIS ballasts to the end. I've had a couple different 70 watt ballasts and these are by far the best. thanks for sharing.
