    What Nano Cube to Buy?

I've got a 6 gal Nano Cube and love it. Very sleek design. I did change out the hood (lights, fans) but you pretty much have to do it to any type of "off the shelf" tank setup if you want to keep corals. Here is the NC6 post: http://www.nanotank.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2254

    Please help identify this crab

Yeah, that thing will knock down all your frags. I guess only if you have frags that is. He's a big ol' strong boy!

please help identify (red) plant/algae/whatever this is...

Yeah, hard to tell what it is. I kind of like how it looks and if its not out of control or irritating your corals, I say leave it.

    removing powerhead from nano cube

That elbow should pull off was well if I'm not mistaken. I will look at mine tomorrow and let you know. You could try soaking the powerhead in vinegar overnight. That always seems to clear up old clogged up powerheads.

    SUBSTRATE/SAND TYPES?!?!?!?

Hey Dane, welcome to the site. I just wanted to add that I would lean toward too much sand than not enough. Your critters will love you for it and I always seem to lose a little sand whenever I do really major water changes and suck scum off the bottom. Hope that helps and keep us updated.

    New logo, etc

Hey guys! Nanotank has been up and running strong for over four years now. Recently, it had come to my attention that our site was in need in a little facelift. I decided to take on the challenge and change things up a little bit. In the last month, this is what has been accomplished...

new to this, just a quick topping up question

I get my RO/DI water at one of those dispensers at my local grocery store. I fill up one or two 5 gal jugs and keep it in my garage for water changes or top off water.

My most recent trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific

Wow those are some amazing shots! :maitre I've never been to that aquarium but one day I will. I really like some of the tank shots. That place looks very interesting and not like your 'typical' tourist-type aquarium.

ReefDog, Jesse mentioned that you lost one of your original posts on the site last week. I wanted to apologize and I think it must have been right smack in the middle of our site moving hosts. Sorry about that. ;-) Looks like your tank is cycling nicely. You are doing things right. I...
