bleh.. I feel so dumb and at the same time disappointed

I made a mistake of trusting a marine biologist and not reading enough I brought home a small red fromia star fish and its nt doing so well, its starting to get wards at the base of its legs and I know now that it was too not enough aclimation (the guy who sold it gave me the instructions)...
