I'm bettin' you are right. I didn'nt realize there were so many kinds of hydroids. Other folks out there described just as I see on my glass. At this time I have no fish and only a handfull of soft coral. It still is in need of settling in for everyone to be really happy in there. So far...

Again, you all are the best. Another thing I've noticed lately, is millions of teeny tiny star shaped critters all ove the glass. Hundreds of them look just like mini-transparent star fish. I can't wait to hear what they may be..........Hmmmm John

Hi B, Lights come on at 4pm and stay on until midnight. they are the two lights that come with the Nanocube Deluxe (25w ea?). The tank is going on 4 weeks old and has very low levels of nitrites and nitrates. PH is just a "little low" but not bad. I've only added a few soft corals, polyps...

Thanks Erik. I've got a couple snails but they don't seem to be working on the algae. Some little pods working it like dandruff in someone's hair! I'm doing two 20% changes a week during start up, I haven't tried to manually remove it. That's an idea too. I feed the tank the Kent...

Young tank looks rough, but here it is Flat worms, eh................sure could be. They are pretty tiny. here and there. How do I get rid of them? Buy a shrimp?

The tanks only a few weeks old. Lots of little pods now and some bizarre little transparent slugs going over everything.
