What size tank?

Some zoos will do fine under fairly low light conditions. Some seem to need higher lighting. Montipora is an SPS coral, and requires higher lighting, and higher flow rates. It is one of the few SPS that will actually do well under a decent amount of PC lights. So it may be a candidate depending on how big your tank is.

65w over a 4-5g tank, is much different than 65w over a 75g tank.

As for adding or not adding suppliments, that's dependent on your particular setup the mix of corals you have, and the type of salt you use.

The more coral you have the more trace elements they'll pull from your water.
All salts have different quantities of trace elements. You shouldn't add ANY suppliment unless you have a test kit for that element. Especially when you're talking about nano tanks. It's just too easy to add too much to tanks this small and get your water chemistry all out of whack.

On my large tank system I add iodine, calcium, buffer, strontium, molybdenum, and magnesium. On my small tanks I generally only use the two part calium/buffer Kent Marine Tectra-CB Part A & B.

You can read about it here.
