My green zoos that I got a couple of weeks ago seemed to have closed . We had a peppermint shrimp in the tank so I am not sure if he was picking on it a couple of heads have opened back up all perams wnl , I thought that the clown was trying to host but I think that now it was the shrimp ,can anyone give me any insight on how long to get them all to reopen again ?

My green zoos withered away because zoos and leathers don't co-habitate. I was told that so I kinda figure it's true but I don't know. Do you have a mixed tank like that? Maybe that is it.

I don't trust pepermint shrimp at all - a buddy of mine had them eat aiposta anemones so he put some in his display tank and they ate the GSP and some buttons as well.......If the shrimp is gone they should recover

Thanks guys
The peppy is moved to a temp tank for now . I have some shrooms and polyps but no leathers in the show tank , some have opened up but not all of them I am hoping that they continue to open .

I'm not sure where you got this from, but it's not really accurate. It certainly could be true that some leathers, and some zoos don't get along, but I've got zoos, and leathers in my 6g, and my 75g and they seem to be fine, and have been for the last year or so.

chubosco I also have zoas and leathers in very close proximity zoas generally don't mind anything living with them. the sort of trouble that person who told you that was probably reffering to is the interaction of some leathers, shrooms, and other softies, with SPS and LPS corals but even that can be kept in check in many cases with the use of carbon. I think you should seek a dif cause.
