zoas MH vs PC and VHO actinic

OK some of you know I have been playing with zoas and lighting - a few pics and some very unscientific anecdotal conclutions
1) there are no pics of the zoas from my 20g with just PC lighting - they are hands down losers - sorry just reporting data
2) the pics are not entirely "fair" as the MH pics are newer and I've gotten a little better taking pics
3) MH wins in overall color but there is nothing that can compare to the color of a zoa under just VHO actinic dawn/dusk cycle
4) the pics are in order with frags in the hex under MH followed by their counterpart in the 125 under PC/VHO

basically the pics are in pairs with the first being a frag under MH and the second shots from the 125 where i have them under the end with just PC and VHO.

Same thing happened with my blues(though not so blue now) When I got them they had been under MH and were bright electric blue and now that they are in my nanocube they are like this sickley greyish color. Thank god, I am upgrading to a 45 gallon with metal halide within the next month or so.

yeah i've become increaslingly convinced zoas like MH when it comes to color - blues yellows reds and greens definitly pop more. I'm trying some new colors now pink pallys and pink fires we'll see in a month how that goes..........

My zoas have got MUCh brighter since I installed the MH. The pinks and oranges seemed to have colored up the most.

cool - i figured as much but the scientist in me needs to test ya know???? :)
i am going to take some more pics soon - some are so different under the three different lighting schemes i have going, you wouldn't believe they are the same colony.........
