Yellow Polyps are relatively hardy and these guys are filter feeders. Try to provide a varied diet once per day for maximum growth. Target feeding directly in front of the feeding tube is recommended to avoid fouling the water.

Keep away from other anemones or stinging corals as they will kill the polyps. Yellow Polyps like a strong current and providing with sufficient light, these are colonial anemones do need adequate light to survive. They thrive best in a established tank that have been up for at least 6 months.

Mine have become a weed. Watch starting new colonies. I have three and they grow and grow. I used to feed them Formula 1 and thawed shrimp. Not any more. Funny thing though, my first colony died and a hithchhiker from some live rock came in and took off. The original colony has over 75 pulps on a rock that jetisons out over a little canyon. One of the other colonies has taken to the glass from a small little rock in a corner.

They are beautiful to look at.....

BUT

They spread fast and take over anything in their path, I will never have them again.
