Did it have sharp jagged teeth? J/K Worms are part of the cleaning crew in the night, you should be okay.

In rare occasions some worms are predatory and could cause problems, but in day to day nanos, they are not the case.

It was probably just a brittle worm or a peanut worm, no cause for concern!

BTW

Welcome to Nanotank!

:welcome to the board.
My bet would be a bristleworm, kinda reddish with white looking hairs on the sides. Harmless to the tank but the hairs can stick in your skin similar to the spines of a cactus.

yeah and they sting realy badly and you cant' manage to get them out 'cus they'r very small, a very good way to relieve the pain is by adding vinegar to the afected area.

You can also apply white glue to the area and let it dry, you can then remove the bristles by peeling the dried glue off of your skin.

Imagine if the boogey man ate bristles worms on WWF. That would really hurt his tongue. I'm still amazed how many worms he eats every time he appears on Friday night Smack down.
