White spots

are these the same i have noticed them today and its only on the red algae

i can see they have small legs all around.

nothing, fish will eat them, number will reduce as tank developes. the reason there are great number of them is due to what they eat (not sure what), as the food source drops so does the number of those guys. it happens even in long time established tanks.

They're Isopods. They should self regulate in time but they are a good source of food for your fish.
