White crawlies on back wall of tank..

These things look like granules of solt but if ya look close enough they move around. What are they?

Yeah, the pic is horrible..I can't get the macro on the camera to really get a good shot of small things. I also have some small white cotton ball things that fly around in the tank and if they ever hit the glass they stick like velcro. Impossible to get a pick of those to ask an opinion.

those sound like a sponge . By the way both are harmless and signs of of a healthy tank :mrgreen:

one thing that I should mention is that if the white sponges are exposed to air they will die . As I said I am not totally sure on what they(the white specs pictured above) are some others should have some input tho :mrgreen:
