white cottonlike thing on my live rock?

What is this little fuzzy thing? A fungus?

No sorry. It is like a round tube about the size of a grape seed. It is white and fuzzy and round with a hole in the center. I pulled it off with tweezers. It just didn't look like a good thing to have. Hope it was'nt something i should've left alone.

sounds liek a sponge....there filter feeders. perfectly safe. if thats what it is. its hard to tell with no pics

Whoops! Some of it is still attached to LR maybe it will grow back. Now I would really like to get rid of the Bristle worm. Any ideas. It will come out of the rock when I feed but any movement ...he retreats in a flash.

there are traps that you can buy.....

in my tank i leave the small ones and i bait the larger ones. all i do is put some food near where i know it is and use a long pair of tweezers and gently pull it out. i have broken a couple pulling to hard.

It sounds like a pineapple sponge. They're harmless.

Bristleworms are harmless and will do a great job of cleaning up uneaten food/detritus.
