HI folks.
Almost done with my 9 Gallon Nano build. The plexi is all together and the overflow is done too. I've run some Weld-on 16 around the edges everywhere and only have to install the bulkheads and make sure she's water tight once everything dries.
I was curious about the rubber gasket on the bulkheads. Are those safe to go on the inside of a saltwater tank or should I put them on the outside?
From what I was able to read on the web it looks like the gasket normally should go on the inside with a bead of silicon on the outside b/w the bulkhead and the screw fitting. I just wasn't sure about rubber and salt an if perhaps reversing things wouldn't perhaps be a better idea.
Thoughts?
Thanks.
