what kinda worms is this

hi all
i have a 12 gal eclipse with a 1 inch live sand bed and 12 lbs of live rock
my nitrates are still a little high so nothing else in tank. I have seen a few worms. been looking at sites but can not find this one sorry no pics. It looks like a centi. it has a pink head and purple bodyit was about an inch long

probably a bristle worm. They are nothing to worry about and will clean up any scraps in your tank.

Could also be a fireworm, they are similar to bristles, but they can sting.

Pretty much if they are under 5" long, they are quite beneficial to your tank. I have a few fireworms in my tank but they leave everything alone. They eat detritus and other junk around the rock and sandbed.
