That all depends on your tank and the water used in it. If you are using RO water and don't overstock you can probably keep up with all of your tanks needs with small, weekly water changes. To see about needing to add anything you will need to test to check the levels. HTH, Skip

Weekly 10%water changes will replenish all your trace elements. You could use a 2 part additive to keep your calcium and alkilinity in balance. I like the B-Ionic.
