I found this on the rock towards the back of the tank. The tank has been cycling for a week now. I am not sure what this is!!!!

I will try the juice as well. I have probably a half a dozen or so smaller clear ones as well.reefman23 said:Alot of peppies will indeed eat them, some wont. You can also use Joe's Juice if you dont have a large infestation.

Is there a way to identify the Caribbean peppies from peppies from another area?skipm said:The peppermints from the caribbean are the ones that eat them, there are also some peppies from some other area that are pretty common in the hobby that don't touch them.
Thanks for the info, I called one of the LFS and was told where their shrimp came from without offering any reason why I wanted to know. They seem to be trustworthy and knowledgeable.skipm said:As far as I know there is no way to distinguish them apart from looking at them. The LFS I deal with will tell me where something they order comes from, thats the way I tell them apart. I wouldn't say why I was asking though if you don't entirely trust a store because they may tell you caribbean just to make a sale.
