what can I add

In my 1 gal pico. What neat invert can I add to this tank??

I have a gold coral banded shrimp (stenopus zanzibaricus) that had been in my 10 gal nano for the past 4 years. I have just sold everything in this tank and it will all go on Wednesday.

I am trying to decide if I should keep this shrimp or not. When I placed it in this 1 gal its whisker touch the sides of this little tank. Would it be to small for him to stay in there??

Any other ideas greatly appreciated

From what I have read and stuff if he can't move around freely it seems like it might be kind of small specialy going from a larger tank to such a smaller one. It might put alot of stress on him/her.

I'm no expert still working on my SW, but its a good rule of thumb with FW tanks so but it seems all tanks run with the same kind of sizing/load issues.

I would consider it a bit cruel if he were to live in a area where his body parts touch all edges. I'm not mad or yelling (no emotions come through text :cool1: ) , but I personally think it a bit cruel. Maybe a sexy shrimp?

Yes he will not be staying, it is not fair when I see how big this little tank really is. He will be going to a 110 gal saltwater tank tonight along with all the rock and corals from my nano tank.

I decided to just keep 3 small frag corals, one hermit crab, one snail, and a teeny tiny bumble bee goby for this tiny tank.

Go with some sexy shrimp. Very tiny and very interesting. Definitely dont keep the coral banded in there.
So funny I was going to say the same thing. I lost mine at some point. I'll have to pick up one or two sometime soon.

Sexy shrimp are awesome small and like to be kept together.
