Tomorrow, armed with all the awesome info from here and elsewhere, I'm going to the pet store where I work to purchase my tank, live rock and fine crushed coral. I'm pretty excited, but I know there will be no animals for a while yet. That's okay, I'm a patient girl!

Thanks for all your help!

Cora

Pics you wanted...pics you shall have. I set the tank up yesterday in our spare bedroom, just to check everything worked, and took a few pics with my camera fone, so they are not the best quality pics going, but they give you an idea.

Rich, where are you from in the UK? I used to live in London a while ago.

I agree with taking down the tacky-looking backing on the tank. I always just paint mine black.

You lived in London?? My condolences, I hate the place !!!
I live in Eastbourne, Sussex, right down on the South coast....between Hastings and Brighton. Ring any bells ?

Back in my trucking days I used to spend a couple of days a week delivering all round London...I hated every second of it. Traffic, people, thieves, muggers...and that was in the best parts !

I'm about 75 miles due South of London itself...London Bridge to be precise. I go to London as little as is possible nowadays, and then I take the train...saves the blood pressure!!
