weird find ?

Ok while cleaning our 2.5 gallon tank revealed some type of growth
it is round in shape kindof hard with a mouth (?) I guess th closes really fast when spooked I tried to get pictures but due to the location it proved to be quite difficult to do it is in center of the picture in a cove on the lr , I know the pictures are not of the best quality but can anyone help on this ID

can't tell from the pics so its just a total guess from your description and its location - a sea squirt (tunicate)

oh by the way - harrmless filter feeders - kinda cool - and it should have 2 mouths intake and output. one of the only chordates that doesn't have a vertebrate, interesting from an evolution standpoint.
