Upgrade for My 6g Nano?

I want to Upgrade My 6g Nano lighting...right now I have only 18 watts and would like to maybe upgrade it to 36 watts?

I just want the proper lighting for My 6g to be able to keep a Frogspawn Coral on My top rock, a small Pumping Xenia on My side rock, and a Plate Coral on My sand...

If I wanted to upgrade My lighting, how would I do so?
Do I just go to the petshop, buy the light bulb and replace it?
It is easy to do?
I don't really want to send My tank somewhere for them to fix it becuase right now I have 2 tankbred True Percula Clowns in My tank.

Please Help Me Out...Thanks.

The easiest way to add another light would be to use a Coralife EZ ballast, they power one or two (depending on the model) PC bulbs from 18-55 watts. Here is a good deal on a couple of them available from a reefer over on nano-reef, here is a link to his post: http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.p ... opic=85350 . With one of these you would simply have to drill a hole for the wire and route it to where you mount the bulb clips. You would also have to but a bulb. Good luck.

The easiest is the one I mentioned which is basically plug and play, the nanocustoms version will look more original when looking at the ballast tanks equipment because you are adding a box that houses the ballasts instead of them being housed in the hood. It is basically up to you, both ways will work. The method I described is alot easier, especially for someone that is not very DIY inclined.

You can add one more bulb like it stands (without having to do major reworking of the hood) and that would take you up to 36 watts doubling your current lighting.

Where will I put the bulb..I was looking at My 6g and I have a bulb...and then behind this silver thing I have another bulb...I dunno where I would put the additional bulb that I'm planning to buy...Oh and I asked the guy n' he said he doesn't know if the bulb that he's selling will be able to fit a Nano Cube...I'm soo lost.

That is just the moonlight LED... you can reposition that anywhere after you add the addition power compact light.

If you order from nanocustoms.com/nanotuners.com, they will very likely include thourough instructions, and if not, they can answer any questions you will have.

ok so I haven't bought it YET...because My Bf wants to know if instead of another 18watt...if I can possibly add a stronger light...
