hey guys--quick question

i was sitting in front of my 10 gal hex when i saw a tiny star fish-the size of my pinky finger nail pop out of one of the rocks--it looked like it was gliddin on the rock--it disappeared in another hole in the rock

what the hell did that guy come from-:)

it was tiny--it only had three legs and two legs looked like they were growing back--it was yellowish/tan color--what kind of star fish do u guys think this is? should i be worried? i have mushrooms and a xenia in my tank--do u think in time this star fish could attack my corals? im scared!

It'll be fine.

It was likely a mini brittle star, (if the legs were long and skinny), or an asterina star, (if they were short and fat), both are harmless detritus/algae eaters.
