Tiny little things

Yesterday I was doing a bit of a maintenance on my aquarium and was shocked to see hundreds, if not thousands of this little tiny whilte things in my aquarium and refugium on the glass. I freaked out a bit at the beginning but I think these are the copepods.
Since these have appeared it is safe for me to add in a cleaning crew or should I still wait a bit longer. My tank has been up for about 1.5 weeks and my ammonia shows at 0mg/L.
I also had some sort of a hitchiker crab which I put in the refugium until I find out if it is good or bad, and it is still surviving. Is it possible that the water is OK?

You mentioned that ammonia was now reading zero, how about nitrites and nitrates? pH, salinity, and temp readings would also help answer your question.
