My BioCube 14 gallon tank is up and running, thanks to all the posts that answered my questions and helped get me up and running in this addiction called a Nano Reef....

This will be my thread for my tank.

Supplies:
BioCube 14 & Stand
25 feet airline tubing
Glass thermometer w/suction cups
12" tongs
Hydrometer
Acrylic Safe Mag-Float
Test Kit
5"x4" net with 12"handle
Maxi-Jet 900 power head w/rotating deflector
50w Heater
GFI outlet
2 timers for the lights
Live Rock - 17lbs Live Rock, 10lbs Base Rock & 1lb of rubble
Live Sand Agra-Alive Carib Pink 20lbs
Saltwater from my LFS
RO water for top offs
Handful of Chaeto from My LFS

Yet to Purchase:
Chemipure
Filter floss
Submersible Halogen for Fuge
Lighting Upgrade
Extra power strip

The live rock will arrive tomorrow, so I am excited about doing the aquascaping.

So far the only test that I have done is SG. Apparently the LFS has high salinity water, last night it was at 1.028 and I added some RO top off water and that brought the SG down to 1.025.
I will start the trate, trite and alk tests once I get my Live Rock in there.

I will be installing the GFI outlet tonight.

Lighting Schedule:
Acticins turn on at 9 am
2 hours later the PC's turn on
8 hours later the PC's turn off
2 hours later the Acticns turn off

Mods:
Remove Bio-Balls in Chamber 2
Remove Carbon Filter in Chamber 1
Remove Sponge Filter in Chamber 3
Add LR rubble (have yet to complete)
Increased water flow from chamber 1 to chamber 2

Chamber 1:
Currently Empty
Will add Live Rock Rubble

Chamber 2:
Heater
Will add live Rock Rubble
Will add Chaeto
Will add Submersible Halogen

Chamber 3:

I have a few pictures that I will post later on.

SUBMERSIBLE HALOGEN

This is the first time that I have heard of a submersible halogen light. Is this for the lr?

OK I got the 26lbs of live rock today....
I think that I got a little too much...and the pieces were a little large, but they are all in the tank. I think that tomorrow I will be taking out some of the rock and cracking it in half to get some smaller pieces.
I am currently waiting for the sand to settle, but I do have some pictures..woo hoo...

The pictures are of the Live Rock in the tank....I will try to get some clearer pictures tomorrow.

The green stuff in front is some of the stuff I am going to put in my fuge once I get the light for it.....

Sorry these pictures are not the greatest, but they are a little clearer.
I think I am going to be removing the rock on the right, it is just too much in the tank....I will also be breaking at least one of the rocks if not two of the rocks into smaller pieces so that I can aquascape better.

 how much water did you have to take out to get those rocks in there? That's awesome. I say leave it just as it is and start a new trend. Good luck with your tank man.

Alot of aquascaping is up to your tastes and breaking up some LR is almost a must in order to get pieces that fit the way you want them to. It looks like your off to a great start though.
