Sun coral question

Having a hard time finding the ideal lighting for this thing. At on line stores some say it lives in caves doesn't need light, others are saying it needs medium light. I know to target feed it but will it be worse off if I have it in 50/50 light?

You can place it in a shady area, some do and some don't. Technically they are non-photosynthetic.

So the orange color of the coral won't bleach out? I know alot of corals will under certain lights; at least, that is what happens when positions of corals are changed in a tank. Now that is just what I read, I have no experience. I figure this one was in a dark area recently and to replicate that in my tank is dismal at best. Maybe I just worry too much. Crap, it eats like a pig, I mean way more than my fish. Daddy just wants baby to be well adjusted.
