You know, he led a dangerous life, but you never truely expect things like this to happen. It is really sad, he left behind his wife and two small children. He DID die doing what he enjoyed most though... but what a freak thing.

wow...i feel bad for his wife and children too, but i think it is kind of ironic that he can handle poisonous snakes and huge crocs but have his life ended by a stingray....another example of bad things happening to good people

damn, I was like "crikey!" when I heard the news. He was always so entertaining to watch. I figured if he was to die, that it would be an encounter with a croc as he messed with those so much. When I read up on his death and read that a stingray barb to the heart, I was like, "What the f*ck?" He now makes the 3rd case in Australia to be killed in a stingray incident...

He'll be missed...

Of all the bad luck in the world. I'd imagine he would have a pretty good chance of surviving if the stinger didn't go into his heart. I feel for his family.

DJ,

Can you move this thread to the environmental section. I posted there because I feel it's a good place to get feedback and educate us on his past and future.

Thanks,

Mike Guerrero
